About us

We are a small caring practice, and we welcome new patients. We aim to provide high standards of care in a friendly setting. The practice is part of the Sarum West Primary Care Network, which is working to improve the provision of services locally.

Most of our patients live within a 7 mile radius of the surgery.  Our patients live in a number of small and large villages to the west and north of Salisbury Plain. We also have patients living in Devizes, and beyond. There is parking available behind the surgery and parking is allowed on the road.

We are a forward looking practice and a keen supporter of local initiatives. The Platinum standard Framework for Palliative Care, has enabled us to develop close links with our local Hospice, Dorothy House in Bradford on Avon and improve the continuity of palliative care. We are actively involved in the local development of practice based commissioning.

We are recognised as a Veteran Friendly Practice, providing extra support for military veterans, including those who did National Service.

Dr Osborn is a strong advocate of personal and professional development. In October 2006 Dr Osborn became a fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners. This involved an assessment of her clinical practice and is recognition of the high standard of care provided.

Dr Alibhai has moved from being a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, to being a Fellow. This was approved at the July 2024 General Meeting of the Royal College and marks his contribution to providing high quality care to rural patients that is beyond what can be expected from a GP.
